ELKRIDGE, MD. NewWave Telecom & Technologies, Inc. (NewWave) announced that it has been appraised at Maturity Level 3 of the CMMI Institute's Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI). The appraisal was performed by Quality Point Integrating Systems Private Limited. The appraisal was conducted in January 2013.
CMMI is a process improvement approach that provides organizations with the essential elements of effective processes that ultimately improve their performance.

In NewWave, CMMI has become a Model for measuring our organization's ability to provide a process-based approach to development of software, including software engineering and project management.
An appraisal at Maturity Level 3 signifies the organization is performing at a "defined" level. At this level, processes are well characterized and understood, and are described in standards, procedures, tools, and methods.
This distinction acknowledges NewWave's commitment to excellence and providing high quality software solutions and processes.
